Representatives of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University have presented education programs of the university at the Education fair in Strezhevoy. The senior pupils and youth of the city and the Aleksandrovsky district, who arrived at the career guidance meeting, showed the greatest interest in such areas of training as “History” and “Social Studies”, “Mathematics” and “Physics”, “Russian Language” and “Literature”, “Physical Education And "Additional education", "Foreign (English) language" and Foreign (German) language ", "Primary education" and "Preschool education", "Speech therapy".

At the Fair, guests got information about the conditions of admission and training opportunities from representatives of the TSPU, about popular professions and employment in the city of Strezhevoy, got the opportunity to sign up for vocational guidance and testing.

Within the XI Makariyev Educational Readings, the Legislative Duma of the Tomsk Region held the Parliamentary meeting “Youth: Freedom and Responsibility”, that brought together deputies, the clergy of the Tomsk Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church, scholars, teachers, activists of youth volunteer organizations to discussion topical issues. The Tomsk State Pedagogical University was represented by the director of the International Scientific and Practical Center for Axiology and Methodology of Spiritual and Moral Education, Professor of the faculty of history and philology of the TSPU A.N. Koshechko.

A.N. Koshechko made a presentation on “Responsibility and / or freedom among youth: to the question of the role of educational institutions in matters of the spiritual and moral education of the individual”. The report was devoted to the analysis of “responsibility vs individual freedom in the youth environment” in the context of modern sociocultural challenges and priorities of the national educational policy.

Anastasia Nikolaevna noted that “the issues of the realization of personal freedom and responsibility are inextricably linked with the concept of social security that is one of the key world-view features that actualize the fundamental values ​​of human existence. In this regard, the role of educational institutions in the development of the value-semantic sphere of the individual, the formation of responsibility, spiritual and moral basis of the individual, allowing for an environmentally friendly realization of the individual’s right to freedom is determined by several parameters. First, the need to build a holistic educational field that implements the principles of continuity (kindergarten — school — university) and interaction with the family, taking into account the axiological needs of all subjects of the educational process. Secondly, the formation of an educational sample and educational ideal, focused not on the changing and heterogeneous tendencies of the consumer society, but on the traditional spiritual values ​​of the Russian culture, including the most powerful resource of the Orthodox pedagogical tradition. Thirdly, it is necessary to clearly understand that favorable conditions for resolving issues of personal freedom and responsibility in the context of educational activities of educational organizations at various levels do not solve the issue of formalizing educational activities and assessing its effectiveness in terms of the number of events held, the subject matter and content of which are rather weakly linked or not at all associated with the formation of skills of conscious moral behavior. This issue can be resolved in the following ways: comprehensive pedagogical research, high-quality vocational training of teachers, carried out by leading experts with real experience in research and teaching activities in the field of axiology and the methodology of spiritual and moral education, an integrated system of real educational activities in educational organizations of various level aiming at the specific result – a personality of high moral standards, sharing the traditional Russian spiritual values."

Regional math school «Preparing for United State Examination in math» had been conducted in the center for the additional physics, mathematical and natural education of the TSPU. 65 pupils of 10-11 grades together with math teachers came from Tomsk and Tomsk region to participate in this event hosted by famous teachers and researches: A.V. Arbit, I.S. Grynshpon, L.A. Schumskaya, O.L. Gorbachev, T.M. Mezner. The open lecture “The Task of Fermat–Torricelli and its environs” by Alexey Vladimirovich Savvateev (Moscow) became a great surprise for participants.

According to the organizers of the school: «American psychologist K. Rogers understands the creative process as “the creation of a new product, that originates, on the one hand, from a unique individual, and on the other, from the material, events, people and circumstances of life”. It so happened that the creative atmosphere of such an educational event as the traditional Mathematical School conducted at the TSPU in the fall and spring, as well as the material srudied and lecturers-teachers invited – all contributed to immersion of high school students into the educational mathematical environment, thoughtful mastering of the Unified State Exam assignments of increased complexity».

Postgraduate students from China studying at the faculty of history and philology of TSPU prove their knowledge of Russian language by participating in cultural events: once again they took part in the International festival «The worlds speaks out of the mouths of children» and presented their translations of poetry and prose.

This fall our students participated in the competition, organized by the Tomsk Regional Children's Library. For three days foreign students of Tomsk Pedagogical University took part in the work of creative workshops conducted by poets, writers, literary critics, and also presented their work.

This year, all of our students were among the winners: five undergraduates (Wang Bosyaohan, Ye Lei, Feng Rui, Jin Ming, Yu Li Sheng) won diplomas in the Bridges of Friendship nomination, and Liu Haiju received a diploma for third place in the overall standings.

Specialists of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, together with representatives of the administration of the Tomsk region, became participants of the educational exhibition in Beijing and held meetings with universities in the cities of Shijiazhuang and Shenyang. At the exhibition and during visits to universities of China, participants discussed possibilities for cooperation in science and education, the opportunities for academic exchanges, joint publications, and practices of teachers of the TSPU who teach Chinese as a foreign language.

The Tomsk delegation visited Daqing Pedagogical University, Jilin Pedagogical University (Siping), Hebei Pedagogical University (Shijiazhuang), Hebei Institute of Foreign Languages ​​(Beidaihe), Shenyang Polytechnic University (Shenyang), Northeastern University (Shenyang), Shenyang College of Foreign Languages ​​(Shenyang).

Young students of the TSPU’s Robotics center participated in the Governor’s cup competitions and took prize-winning and honorary places in several nominations. The aim of this intellectual competition was to implement educational robotics in general education of the Tomsk region, to awake interest in technical activities and engineering among school pupils as well as to detect gifted kids having facilities for robotics.

Under the guidance of teachers of Robotics center, our students had successfully performed at competitions, showed their skills and got high scores from the jury. In the nominations of the Preschoolers' Cup, the works by Belkevich Andrei and Eboron Aboronov (the project “Tomsk Attractions”) and Kalmayevs Damir and Eldar (the project “Travel with a Dream”) became the best. Leonid Vladimirovich Bortsov won the second place in the roboralli competition and the victory in the nomination “The best technical interview”. Inin Stepan Sergeevich got the audience award in robo-dance competition.

TSPU professor, the head of the International scientific and practical center of axiology and methodology of moral and spiritual education Anastasia Nikolaevna Koshechko became the participant of the International symposium « Anthropology of Dostoevsky. Man as a problem and object of image in the world of Dostoevsky» that took place in Sofia (Bulgaria).

The symposium was attended by more than 50 scientific experts from 16 countries of the world in the field of literary studies, linguistics, philosophy, theology, psychology, psychoanalysis, anthropology. The theme of the symposium has forms three leading problem-thematic areas in which presentations of the participants were presented:

1) Dostoevsky's anthropology in view of philosophical anthropology and the European culture of the twentieth century;

2) Dostoevsky's anthropology in the perspective of Russian religious-philosophical thought and Russian culture of the twentieth century;

3) the problem of a man in the novel "Idiot".

Anastasia N. presented a report “The existential fate of F.M. Dostoevsky: ways to reflect the word ". The work was devoted to the study of the sources of the formation of an existential world image in the works of the writer. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the existential meanings of Dostoevsky's work and the corresponding text-generating methods. The relevance of the stated theme was determined by the peculiarities of the writer's personality and his characters, the phenomenological nature of his texts, which can be considered as certain existential constants providing spiritual, value-semantic supports for self-determination and self-identification of a person. An important idea of the report related to ​​the relevance of Dostoevsky's creativity and the existential meanings embodied in it regarding a person and society at the end of the XVIII century, an epoch of a colossal value and ideological shift.

In the framework of the presentation of the symposium A.N. Koshechko presented her monograph «The Existential Fate of F. M. Dostoevsky: ways to reflect the word», which was given to the Bulgarian society of Dostoevsky.

Ryazan State University named after. S.A. Yesenin hosted the III All-Russian Forum of the Russian Language, dedicated to the heritage of Academician Izmail Ivanovich Sreznevsky. The forum was attended by students from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Veliky Novgorod, Moscow, Donbass. On behalf of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University there were students of the Faculty of History and Philology of Zyryanova Elizaveta and Zhigalova Tamara (group 362), who presented the student project «And we will save you, Russian language!»

«The works of the forum participants were diverse, - says Elizaveta Zyryanova. – We discussed the issues of preserving the traditions of the Russian language, creating dictionaries, organizing events that promote the development of literate speech and popularizing the Russian language, creating interfaces that facilitate the use of literary sources and other topics».

The program of the forum was full of various events. Students together with the project scientific leader, associate professor of the department of Russian literature, E.A. Safonova visited museums of the Ryazan State University, the birthplace of I.I. Sreznevsky (Sreznevo village) and S.A. Yesenin (Konstantinovo village), reserve-museum Ryazan Kremlin. The participants of the forum attended educational lectures of the best linguists in the country: «Princess Ye.R. Dashkova and the Russian language» (M.I. Chernysheva), «F.I. Buslaev and his role in the formation of the identity of the national science» (O.V. Nikitin), «The linguistic-cultural aspect of the studying and teaching of the Russian language» (V.M. Shaklein).

«I would like to note a high level of organization of the forum, a friendly attitude, responsiveness and hospitality of the host country, - Elizabeth says. - We got an invaluable experience of communication with distinguished professors, the opportunity to discuss our projects in the student community. The organizers of the forum managed to create a wonderful atmosphere, the forum left only positive emotions and good memories».

The team of the Tomsk state pedagogical university has won in the nomination «The best social application» of the «Open data of the Tomsk region» hackathon that took place of last weekend.

Among the participants of the 24-hour programming marathon were: Soldatenko Artem Vadimovich, head of the information systems development department of TSPU, Vyacheslav Yuryevich Likhachev, programmer of the TSPU network projects laboratory, Vladimir Vlasov and Aleksey Lesik, students of the Department of Informatics of the TSPU.

Work evaluation was carried out according to the following criteria: use of combinations of several data sets (the more complex combinations of open data sets a team uses, the higher its score); social significance of the project; workmanship (the more complete, technological, logical and aesthetically attractive a project looks, the higher is the score); project presentation.

According to the results, the team of TSPU became the winner of one of the contest nominations and received a cup and a diploma for the first place, as well as a certificate for the purchase of electronic equipment.

Volunteers of the TSPU team «Point of view» just cannot get enough of the good deeds. This week students helped retired people to prepare for the upcoming winter and visited schoolchildren of a residential school.

According to the weather forecast is going to get cold this week, that is why volunteers of the TSPU helped old people who are living in the private houses. They helped to pick firewood and place it in a safe dry palce near the house so people could easily heat their homes during the winter. Other volunteers visited the residential school where they conducted a workshop for children having visual impairments. Kids learned how to make postcards and by the end of the event created their own postcards.
