PEDAGOGICAL CAMP TRAINING 2018
Traditionally, during the summer holidays, students of the Tomsk State pedagogical University participate in pedagogical internship based on summer camps of Tomsk and other cities of Russia. The future teachers get an opportunity to try themselves as camp counselors after passing the «Counselor school» of TSPU and participating in special training in «Voshod» camp. Some of our students prefer to develop their teaching skills in Tomsk region and others travel to Krasnoyarsk or Krasnodar regions.
Initially the «Summer internship» was meant only for the future social teachers and psychologists but after introduction of Bachelor training it became obligatory for all students who are undergoing training in «Pedagogical education» and «Psychology and pedagogical education». The main goal of internship is to form professional trades: ability to cooperate with children, to organize their collaboration, support their activity, initiative and independence, to develop their creative abilities. The main feature of TSPU internship is that students immerse in the process by working as counselors in a summer camp. For many years, our camp-partners provide us with grounds for this internship: «Zdorovie», «Voskhod», «Cosmonaut» sanatorium, «Prometheus» sanatorium and others), the camps of the Kemerovo Region, the Krasnodar Territory, and the famous «Orlyonok» camp. In total more than 40 out-of-town and school camps participate in the internship.

TSPU SCHOOL OF "SWAMP AND BIOSPHERE" RELEVANCE AND PROSPECTS
With the coming of the new academic year, the staff of the Biology and Chemistry Faculty of the TSPU will organize the tenth All-Russian international school of young scientists "Swamps and the Biosphere". This year the scientific event will be dedicated to the 120th anniversary of S. S. Dragunov (1898-1994) the leading specialist in peat chemistry and will be held in the city of Tver.
Traditionally the professor of the TSPU, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Lidia Ivanovna Inisheva will become the head of the school. She told us about what to expect from the tenth school and why the event is not losing its relevance from year to year.
Lydia Ivanovna, for what purpose has the school of "Swamps and the Biosphere" been organized for tenth time? Who will participate in the jubilee series of scientific events?
If we take into account that Siberian region takes the first place in the world in number of peat and marsh areas, the swamp theme, of course, is very important for Russia: large areas are occupied, almost every fifth hectare is a marsh. Unfortunately, there is no special faculty of peatology, apparently, it will be created in the future, and there are a lot of problems now. They all require a solution, because the marsh is an ecosystem that lives, develops, captures new territories, unique animals and plants are situated here. Peat is used in the production of medicines, for construction and for agriculture, in general, it is incredibly widespread. Young people, of course, are less immersed in this subject and in order to attract young specialists to this industry, we are conducting schools "Swamps and the Biosphere". This year will be the tenth school, the first eight we held in Tomsk, the ninth was held in Vladimir, and the tenth anniversary school will be organized in Tver. We want to transfer our knowledge to more people.
How is the school conducted?
The school traditionally consists of two parts: the first - lectures or lecture symposium, and the second - a symposium of participants. At the school the reports of the speakers are analyzed: the participants share their impressions and knowledge, especially the lecturers are representatives from the Moscow State University, Kira Ivanovna Kobak (St. Petersburg), who survived the blockade; For a long time she has been teaching in Poland, Olga Leopoldovna Lis, who travelled West Siberian marshes far and wide and many others.
We also have a tradition of raising the flag and awarding prizes for the best report of young scientists, we take everyone on an excursion to the swamp or peat enterprise, and we usually end up with a bonfire and the performance of the school's hymn.
Someone from the TSPU students will represent the university at the school?
Six reports from TSPU are presented and one of them is the work of the young, budding student of DA. Denisenko.
It is planning to share international experience at the school?
Yes, we are actively working with colleagues from Poland: joint articles for various journals, joint analyzes. But in Tver, as it is the central part of Russia, a greater flow of foreign scientists from Germany, Sweden and Finland is expected.
The peculiarity of this school of young scientists is that simultaneously with it there will be an adult conference of peatologists - this is a unique scientific event, since such an event is happening for the first time in 15 years. Young people will be able to listen to reports at an adult conference, present their own work are a youth conference, and even get prizes!
Are there such schools in other countries?
There is an international peat society, whose representatives previously only held conferences, but literally about 5-7 years ago I saw information in their magazine “International Peat Society” about how individual products from peat are demonstrated by schoolchildren. I think that the organization of such schools on peat is a priority of Russia, and in particular of Siberia, since the first school was organized in our Tomsk State Pedagogical University.

Exhibition of Raphael Aslanyan at the Tomsk Art Museum
During the next month, an exhibition devoted to the memory of the Tomsk painter, teacher, professor of the TSPU Raphael Egorovich Aslanyan will be operating at the Tomsk Regional Art Museum. Devoted to the the artist's 70th anniversary, the exhibition will include the works of Rafo, as the master of the brush and canvas called himself, as well as the works of his pupils. During the opening ceremony, the museum's deputy director Nikolai Vasenkin quoted a famous classic: "Those from whom we learn can be called our teachers, but not every teacher deserves that title."
Employees of the Art Museum recalled the life, profession and creativity of Raphael Aslanyan :
"There are good artists, there are good teachers, and there are those who managed to blend these two talents: Raphael became a teacher for young artists of Tomsk. Rafo is a truly teacher. For several decades of pedagogical activity in various educational institutions if Tomsk he carefully brought up dozens of pupils and followers, many of whom forever linked their destiny with fine art and became independent masters.
Working as a teacher at the Tomsk College of Culture, at the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Raphael Aslanyan remained a teacher even outside the walls of official educational institutions - he was the head of the studio at the Tomsk Art Fund, he gathered with students in his workshop. He always had a lot of students who considered it an honor to learn from such a master. All of them remember RaphaelYegorovich with warmth and great respect. In 2018, Raphaelwould would have turned 70 years old, and the exhibition, originally conceived as a broad retrospective of the work of Rafo, with the artist's departure was meaningfully and formally changed. This jubilee exposition that became a tribute to the respect, memory and gratitude of numerous students to their dear teacher.
Raphael Egorovich Aslanyan was born in 1948 in the Armenian city of Kirovakan (now Vanadzor). He received his education at the Yerevan Art and Theater Academy (1971-1976), where his teacher was the People's Artist of the Armenia Sarkis Mambreevich Muradyan, a student of the great Martiros Saryan. The first exhibitions of Raphael begun in 1978. Personal exhibitions took place in Russia and abroad, including the USA. Since 1998, the artist lived and worked in Tomsk. Over these years his name has become a landmark of our city, and his work is an integral part of the cultural space of Siberia.
Aslanyan offered the viewer his own vision and understanding of the world around him, an opportunity to find an answer to the complex questions of being. Raphael Aslanyan was an outstanding colorist, who used all the possibilities of color: from bright contrasts to subtle nuances. The creative search, the desire to change, the expression that can be found in all the works of the artist, became the defining elements of his author's style and were assimilated to a different degree by his students.
The students of Rafo have travveled around the country, many continued their education in the art colleges of Krasnoyarsk, Moscow and St. Petersburg, but they managed to preserve the spirit of friendship that was formed in the hospitable workshop of Aslanyan. Interesting, multifaceted, working in a variety of techniques - they all feel united by the bright sunlight that their teacher brought to severe Siberia from his native Armenia. "Rafo taught us to be artists, through pure and sonorous colors he put solar heat into our hearts, shared not only his technical techniques, but his own special energy." We want his energy of love for the world to continue to live in our works" explains the concept of the exhibition one of the organizers, the artist and teacher Anastasia Khartularia.
