The team of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University "Ekosovest" is among the three winners of "sort with us" environmental quest that took place among the universities in the country from October to December 2016.

There were 70 teams from universities from all over the Russia among the participants of the environmental quest "Sort with us ". Expert commission has announced winners of the competition. Tomsk Mayor Ivan Klein awarded athletes and trainers who showed the best achievements of the year. The Institute of the Theory of Education is a structural unit of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University.  The Institute has three departments: the department of pedagogical and philosophical anthropology; thedepartment of postgraduate education;thedepartment of history and philosophy of science.  The main fields of scientific research of the Institute are:

Methodology of modeling of the nonlinear dynamics of educational system;

Technologies of the Information Society:  methodology of diagnostics;

Bioethics as a form of self-consciousness of Modern Culture.

All fields are supported by Russian Foundation of Basic Research and Russian Foundation for Humanities.

The applied activity of Institute is connected with teaching of Master's Degree students, Ph.D. students and doctoral studies in Pedagogics and Philosophy.  Part of the staff of the Institute is working as teachers of bioethics at the Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk).

Organizational activity of the Institute is aimed at:

1) Training of specialists of top skills 

2) Preparation and the organization of scientific conferences. Among them there were five conferences on bioethics: "The Anthropological basics of Bioethics" (2006); "Construction of a Human" (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011);

3) Publishing of the Institute transactions, including series of monographs “Systems and Model: Limits of Interpretation”.

Bioethics became an object of scientific research, organizational and practical activities of our scientists due to two professors who were in 2007-2010 the invited employees of the Institute:

Boris Yudin (the representative of Russia in Steering committee on bioethics of the Council of Europe, the board member of the International Association of Bioethics);

Ruben Apresyan (the member of the Russian Committee on Bioethics, the member of the Commission of UNESCO on Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology, director of the Center of Applied and Professional Ethics).

TomskState Pedagogical Universityhas a high-professional publishing house and modern technical base for the organization and support of Internet resources and distant education.

In December 2016 Tomsk State Pedagogical University has been certified for compliance with the requirements of All Union State standard ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001: 2015) within the framework of a voluntary certification system "International Center of Standardization and Certification ISCO» (Dubna) .

As a result of audit and management evaluation Tomsk State Pedagogical University has received a qualification certificate, which approves that TSPU  satisfies the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001: 2015).

December 24 at the "Emerald City" shopping mall the rewarding of participants and winners of the regional ecological competition "Christmas bag" was held. The organizers of competition were students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University.

More than 400 children and teachers have participated in the competition and presented their works in the following categories: best methodical development of the best design work, the best animation work, plane work of recycled materials, three-dimensional work of recycled materials, Christmas toy, string bag.

December 26 at the conference hall of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University’s Scientific Library the V International scientific seminar "Teaching Russian as a foreign language: theory and practice" was held. The event brought together about 30 participants and more than 50 listeners, including students, undergraduates of TSPU faculty of history and philology.

Students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Tomsk State Pedagogical University once again showed excellent results within the framework of the All-Russian contest "Crystal Orange". According to the results of the regional stage of the project, which were announced on December 12, 2016, two projects of Tomsk State Pedagogical University have earned victory and prizes. In the ranking of the demand for higher education institutions in the Russian Federation 2016, prepared by International News Agency "Russia today", Tomsk State Pedagogical University took the 7th place among the humanities (pedagogical and philological) universities.

The study included 446 high schools from 82 regions of the country.
