TSPU student is a winner of "I am a professional" competition
Alena Smirnova student of the faculry of history and philology of the TSPU became the winner of "Pedagogical education" category of the all-russian competition "I am a professional".
Alena has proved her skills during several stages of the competition that took place in Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. She has succesfully solved pedagogical tasks and showed her communicative skills, much important for a future teacher. In Nizhny Novgorod Alena participated in a series of workshops by teachers from Moscow universities Shalva Alexandrovich Amonashvili and Efim Lazarevich Rachevsky "I would never have thought that I could see these amazing people live! - says Aliona Smirnova. - As a result of the passed tests I became the winner of the Olympics! ". A student of the TSPU became the best in the category of "Pedagogical Education", ahead of 104 contestants. For her professional skills and talents, Alyona is awarded with a certificate for admission to the master's program of the higher institutions-organizers of the Olympics. Besides she was included in the list of young professionals. "But the best prize for me is experience, because that's the only way to understand what you already know, to determine the points of professional growth and to strive for new results - says Alyona. - I will not enter the magistracy until a year later, but I think this will be a pedagogical direction."

postgraduate students from China get to know RUSSIAN CULTURE
Employees of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University continues to show Russian culture to students who have come to study from China. Together with the staff of the History and Philology Faculty of the TSPU, the students visited the Regional Children's Library, where they learned how the Slavic peoples "invoked" the spring, got acquainted with our traditions, learned how to make the ancient Slavic spring symbols-amulet-martinichki.

TSPU TEAM SHOWS THE BEST RESULTS AT THE REGIONAL STAGE OF THE RUSSIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
The team of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University has demonstrated spectacular results at the regional stage of the Championship of the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia. Our team was ahead of rivals in most of the sport categories, and according to the judges of competitions the students of TSPU will go to Anapa, where they will continue to defend the honor of the University in sports student competitions.
Competitions were held between student sports clubs of TSPU and TSU, the members of the Association of Students' Sports Clubs of Russia. There were five stages to compete in: volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, chess.
In the final games students competed in streetball competitions among men's and women's teams, chess and mini-football, volleyball.
Students of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University won in women's streetball, showed the best results in the individual chess championship among men (Giyasov Farkhod), became the first in mini-football (boys) and beat rivals in volleyball (boys).
In addition to the confident victories of the Tomsk Pedagogical team, third place in the personal chess championship among men was taken by the student of the TSPU Khudaiberganov Yunus, while the youth team of the TSPU in streetball became the second.

TSPU STUNDETS ARE WINNERS OF "CRYSTAL ORANGE" COMPETITION
Students of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University Eduard Obangatsongo and Cedric Lord, who came to study from the Republic of the Congo, became the winners of in a category of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of student projects "Crystal Orange".
Together with the teachers of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the TSPU African students developed a project to promote the education at the TSPU and Siberian universities for foreign students "Afrosiberians: survival guide." Using the format of animation clips, the guys told their story of their arrival in Russia, Siberia, shared the secrets of adaptation to life in another country, as well as studying in a Russian university.
"Clips were about coming to Siberia, a new climate, studying, living in a hostel, new friends, traveling. We created two videos that tell the story of Edward in the first person. The student was so carried away that he made additional commercials about the benefits of studying at the TSPU, - told A.P. Glukhov, Ph.D. Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, head of the team. - Then it was necessary to draw up a description of the project. Our African students "fought" with the difficult Russian language, because it was difficult for them to learn numerous declensions and conjugations, graduation and other issues. Finally, the project was ready to be sent to the contest. "
The ceremony of the regional stage awarding of the "Crystal Orange" took place on the last Friday. The project of students of TSPU was highly appreciated by the jury and won first place in the nomination "Public relations, advertising and media technologies in the international sphere - the image of Russia." The winners of the nominations that have overcome the regional stage will be able to present their projects at the all-Russian level, the results of which will be summed up in July 2018.

TSPU "ART-CHAOS, GARBAGE BREEZE" PROJECT BECAME THE WINNER OF THE "GOOD DEEDS FORMULA" COMPETITION
Students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics and Management (the Department of Advertising and Public Relations) of the TSPU participated in the contest "Formula of Good Deeds" and became the winners for their wenvironmental project "ART-CHAOS: Garbage Breeze"
The competition was held by SIBUR-Tomskneftekhim for the third time, but its goal is always the same - to improve the quality of life in cities and regions where there are representative offices of the company. A total of 519 projects were submitted for the third competition, of which the jury selected 121 projects for participation.
The garbage breeze is an environmental program developed by students and teachers of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Faculty of Economics and Management of TSPU. "ART-CHAOS. Garbage wind " has been implementing for three years. During this time, not only the number of participants increased, but also the scale of the project: it covered not only the regional center, but also the regions. The financial support of "ART-CHAOS: Garbage Breeze" on the part of "Sibur-Tomskneftekhim" will be expanded. In 2018, it is planned to conduct field seminars not only in nearby areas, but also in distant ones, for example, in the city of Strezhevoy.
In the new series of the project, the basic nominations will be retained: an art object from junk materials, animations on environmental problems, educational and methodological development, social and scientific research projects on environmental issues. The start of "ART-CHAOS: Garbage Breeze" in 2018 is scheduled for September.

RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR STUDENTS FROM JAPAN AT TSPU
For the eighth time the annual Russian Language and Culture School for students from Japan was held at the Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Our university was visited by 15 students from two Japanese partner universities - Hiroshima University and Ochanomizu University (Tokyo).
Japanese students had experienced an interesting and rich cultural and educational program, which included not only lessons and seminars, but also cultural and entertainment events: presentations, workshops, acting classes, Russian cuisine tasting, meetings with Tomsk students studying Japanese, dog- drawn sledge trips, excursions and much more.
The daily lessons of Russian as a foreign language were conducted by Anastasia S. Savenko, Ph.D., assistant professor of the Chair of Modern Russian Language and Stylistics of the History and Philology Faculty of TSPU. Workshops on traditional Russian dolls were organized and conducted by Inessa Igorevna Babenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Chair of Language Theory and Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature. The main part in the support and organization of the work of the School was fulfilled by the staff of the Department for International Cooperation and the International Information Center of the TSPU.
The closing of the School of Russian Language and Culture had gathered Tomsk citizens, who are fond of Japanese language and culture, students and teachers of our university became guests. Final presentations by the participants were not only interesting and informative, but also surprising, since before the arrival to Tomsk the guys had not learn Russian at all. In just three weeks of intensive studies, they have mastered Russian so much that they were able to compose and present short thematic reports, as well as to take part in a musical and theatrical show in Russian. Classes at the School of Russian Language and Culture of TSPU have become a bright and interesting event in the life of all participants of the project.

TSPU student won a silver medal in sambo tournament
Sambo wrestler Valeria Anisimova, who still performs at the junior age, made her debut at the Russian Adult Championship held in Khabarovsk. As the agency sportus.pro reports, the debut turned out to be successful. Valeria, a student of the Tomsk Regional Sports School of the Olympic Reserve, an athlete-instructor of the children's and youth sports school "Rus" and a student of TSPU, won a silver medal.
Denis Vyshegorodtsev, senior coach of the Sambo Department of Children's Sports School "Rus": "The result is gorgeous! To be honest, we came here just to test ourselves, but from the first eounds it became clear that Lera is determined to fight the more mature and experienced athletes, the leaders of the team. In the finals, due to a minor injury, together with the Russian national team coach, we decided to remove Lera from the duel for gold. Together with the silver medal, Valeria Anisimova got a ticket to the adult European Championship, which will be held in May. "

60th anniversary of Tomsk logopaedics
Employees of the Department of Defectology of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical and Special Education of the TSPU were awarded duting the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Tomsk Oblast Speech Service.
At the solemn ceremony, were awarded not only the graduates of the TSPU - veterans, young teachers, trainees, but also the dynasties of speech therapists from the staff of the defectology department of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University.
TSPU department of defectology has been functioning since 2016. On its basis, such new educational programs as "Pedagogy and psychology of inclusive education" (magistracy) and "Oligophrenopedagogics" (bachelor's degree) were implemented.
