The TSPU volunteers of the "Point of view" team had marked the ecological holiday "International Bird Day" together with the pupils of the fourth grade of school No. 36 in Tomsk. Together with the activists of the TSPU, the children went through the history of the holiday and learned which birds are returning from the warm areas at that time. After the thematic quiz, students under the supervision of students took part in the creative worshop on the creation of birdfeeders. Each work turned out to be unique: children liked to decorate handicrafts with ribbons and bows. At the end of the meeting, the fbirdfeeders were filled with seeds, grains, berries and hung in a school lot.

Students from the seven different cities of the Siberian federal district gathered together at the Linguistic institute of the Altai State Pedagogical Uniersity on the 5th of April to participate in the Interregional Student Contest in Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching. Tomsk was represented by the team of the faculty of foreign languages of TSPU. A high level of preparation and real professionalism in solving language and methodological problems had brought the our students a confident victory!

Students from Tomsk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Gorno-Altaisk and Omsk competed for the title of the best in language and methodology. The team of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University consisted of: Troshina Julia, Ivanova Natalia, Vasyukov Anatoly. The guys showed their best during the two days of the competition.

Afterwards they expressed gratitute to the organizers of the event and their teachers: "Such events are very important: they give an opportunity to see colleagues and students from other universities, motivate them for further development and help them understand their place in pedagogical education. Professor of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, theoretical physicist Sergei Dmitrievich Odintsov became one the most cited authors in the field of fundamental physics. On April 2, within the framework of the Spring Week of Good in Tomsk, the charity marathon "Together We Do Good!" will take place and the Tomsk State Pedagogical University acts as one of its organizers. The goal of the program is to involve children, youth, the community of Tomsk and Tomsk region in activities to support and help children with disabilities.

Employees of the Center for Additional Physics and Mathematics and Science Education of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University became the winners of the All-Russian competition of projects "People of the Future". The program of our specialists "Design and research activity of schoolchildren in the field of cosmonautics and astronomy" has become one of the best in the nomination "Ecosystem of partnership".

The organizer of the contest is the Non-commercial "Lift to the Future" partnership, which supports socially significant projects aimed at creating conditions for the development of scientific and technical creativity and innovative activity of schoolchildren and the introduction of innovative information technologies in education. The nomination "Ecosystem of partnership" assumes the support of existing additional education projects aimed at forming a continuous educational and career development of schoolchildren with the involvement of a wide range of partners.

At present, a grant agreement has been signed, according to which, starting from March 2018, the program of the TSPU "Design and Research Activity of Schoolchildren in the Field of Cosmonautics and Astronomy" will be implemented. The project will unite the resources of educational and scientific organizations of the Tomsk region for the coordination and development of relevant topics in the research of schoolchildren.

Students of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the TSPU under the direction of the Associate Professor of the Department of General Physics A.R. Arzhanik took the first place in the annual Competition in Physics among students of pedagogical universities.

A traditional intellectual event was held last week in Krasnoyarsk on the basis of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University. The team of TSPU consisting of: Guselnikova Ulyana (group 431 ), Mirzoyeva Aitan (group 451), Sannikova Anastasia (group 441), Pervukhina Olesya (group 431), Yurkova Tatiana (group 431) had beaten the rivals from other universities and won the competition.

In addition, in individual competitions Guselnikov Ulyana won in the nominations "Competition of scientific reports of students on the methods of teaching physics" and "Experimental tour."

Alena Smirnova student of the faculry of history and philology of the TSPU became the winner of "Pedagogical education" category of the all-russian competition "I am a professional".

Alena has proved her skills during several stages of the competition that took place in Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. She has succesfully solved pedagogical tasks and showed her communicative skills, much important for a future teacher. In Nizhny Novgorod Alena participated in a series of workshops by teachers from Moscow universities Shalva Alexandrovich Amonashvili and Efim Lazarevich Rachevsky "I would never have thought that I could see these amazing people live! - says Aliona Smirnova. - As a result of the passed tests I became the winner of the Olympics! ". A student of the TSPU became the best in the category of "Pedagogical Education", ahead of 104 contestants. For her professional skills and talents, Alyona is awarded with a certificate for admission to the master's program of the higher  institutions-organizers of the Olympics. Besides she was included in the list of young professionals. "But the best prize for me is experience, because that's the only way to understand what you already know, to determine the points of professional growth and to strive for new results - says Alyona. - I will not enter the magistracy until a year later, but I think this will be a pedagogical direction."

Employees of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University continues to show Russian culture to students who have come to study from China. Together with the staff of the History and Philology Faculty of the TSPU, the students visited the Regional Children's Library, where they learned how the Slavic peoples "invoked" the spring, got acquainted with our traditions, learned how to make the ancient Slavic spring symbols-amulet-martinichki.

The team of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University has demonstrated spectacular results at the regional stage of the Championship of the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia. Our team was ahead of rivals in most of the sport categories, and according to the judges of competitions the students of TSPU will go to Anapa, where they will continue to defend the honor of the University in sports student competitions.
Competitions were held between student sports clubs of TSPU and TSU, the members of the Association of Students' Sports Clubs of Russia. There were five stages to compete in: volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, chess.
In the final games students competed in streetball competitions among men's and women's teams, chess and mini-football, volleyball.

Students of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University won in women's streetball, showed the best results in the individual chess championship among men (Giyasov Farkhod), became the first in mini-football (boys) and beat rivals in volleyball (boys).

In addition to the confident victories of the Tomsk Pedagogical team, third place in the personal chess championship among men was taken by the student of the TSPU Khudaiberganov Yunus, while the youth team of the TSPU in streetball became the second.

Students of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University Eduard Obangatsongo and Cedric Lord, who came to study from the Republic of the Congo, became the winners of in a category of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of student projects "Crystal Orange".

Together with the teachers of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the TSPU African students developed a project to promote the education at the TSPU and Siberian universities for foreign students "Afrosiberians: survival guide." Using the format of animation clips, the guys told their story of their arrival in Russia, Siberia, shared the secrets of adaptation to life in another country, as well as studying in a Russian university.

"Clips were about coming to Siberia, a new climate, studying, living in a hostel, new friends, traveling. We created two videos that tell the story of Edward in the first person. The student was so carried away that he made additional commercials about the benefits of studying at the TSPU, - told A.P. Glukhov, Ph.D. Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, head of the team. - Then it was necessary to draw up a description of the project. Our African students "fought" with the difficult Russian language, because it was difficult for them to learn numerous declensions and conjugations, graduation and other issues. The ceremony of the regional stage awarding of the "Crystal Orange" took place on the last Friday. The project of students of TSPU was highly appreciated by the jury and won first place in the nomination "Public relations, advertising and media technologies in the international sphere - the image of Russia." The winners of the nominations that have overcome the regional stage will be able to present their projects at the all-Russian level, the results of which will be summed up in July 2018.
