Tomsk athletes Dmitry Cherkashin and Olga Morozova are preparing to perform at the world championship among juniors  in weightlifting. These prestigious competitions will be held in the Serbian city of Novi Sad from 6 to 10 of November.

Dmitry Cherkashin and Olga Morozova are preparing for the upcoming world championship on the basis of Tomsk State Pedagogical University, because both of them are students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the TSPU. In Serbia Dima will perform in the classic biathlon program, and Olya will perform in the “long cycle push” exercise. By the way, in this discipline at the World Championships, medals for girls will be officially introduced for the first time.
