TSPU STUDENT IS A CHAMPION OF EUROPEAN JUDO TOURNAMENT

In the Finnish city of Vantaa, the European Judo Championship was held among juniors up to 21 years old. The tournament program was completed by competition among mixed teams. A student of Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Aleksandra Askarova, joined the Russian team, which confirmed the title of the strongest team by taking the first place.

Sasha was stronger than the her opponent from Italy. As a result, Tomsk, together with the Russian team, became the winner of the European Championship. Alexandra entered the country's team in the weight category up to 70 kg. In total, 14 teams took part in the tournament.
