All-Russian contest "Picture book” ended in TSPU
The long-awaited awarding of the winners and participants of the All-Russian competition of author's illustrations and animation "picture book", organized by the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, was held in fabulous "Emerald City" shopping center. The idea of contest belongs to the staff and students of the faculty of psychology, public relations and advertising of TSPU. The competition featured more than one hundred works based on the stories by Tomsk writer A. A. Berezin "Umbrella for Dasha." There were participants not only from Tomsk and Tomsk region, but also from such cities as Kazan and Kirov. Participants have pleased the organizers and the audience with four animation films: "Buckwheat and unicorns" (students of third "B" grade of the A. S. Pushkin Lyceum № 1, the kids from the "Kolosok" and social rehabilitation center for under-age of Tomsk region), "How to treat men" ("On the cloud" film studio), "Dasha and Little Red Riding Hood" (Daria Mitrofanova, Kazan), "Cat, grandmother and rake" (Daniel Tiron), "Cat, grandmother and rake" (Shumkov Maxim, Antipin Ilya, Snegirev Gleb , Medvedev Georgii- Center for development of Children and Youth creativity "Rainbow", Kirov). The winners were chosen in the following categories: "Internet voting", "expert jury", "Prize of the Partner", "The youngest participant". The participants were awarded with gifts from partners and organizers. During the celebration there were performances from "Fiesta" dance school, "Dancehall" Irish Dance Studio, "Shizgara" and "Nightingale the Robber" vocal groups "Nightingale the Robber", "Djey" pop-rock band. The "picture book" contest is the third project realized by teachers and students of faculty of psychology, public relations and advertising of TSPU. It should be stressed that all of these programs are quite unique because they allow students to learn and gain experience in real implementation of such projects, which is a great opportunity to test their own professional skills and competences.
