SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL DEDICATED TO THE ANNIVERSARY OF PROFESSOR S.D. ODINTSOV

Today, the Tomsk State Pedagogical University hosted a meeting of the  Academic Council dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Chief Researcher of the TSPU, one of the most influential scientists in the world, Sergey Dmitrievich Odintsov. During the solemn opening ceremony the rector of TSPU Valery Vladimirovich Obukhov have recalled all the great scientific achievements and numerous awards of S.D. Odintsov.

On behalf of the Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergey Dmitrievich was congratulated on his anniversary and awarded with the medal "For Achievements" . Teachers and students of Professor Odintsov, colleagues from universities in Russia, Poland and Japan spoke aboutachievements of the hero of the day in world science.

On the basis of the Academic Council of the TSPU, Sergey Dmitrievich was awarded with the diploma of an honorary professor.

On March 1-2,  Siberian Spring Cosmology seminar, timed to the jubilee of the scientist, will be held at the TSPU (Conference Hall of the main building, 60 Kievskaya St. ). The reports will be made by employees of Tomsk State Pedagogical University, as well as researchers from Russia, Poland, Spain, Japan, Iran and Oman. The seminar will be devoted to the problems of cosmology and gravity.
