TSPU Develops a Strategy for Adapting Russian Language Learning Materials in Kenya
Researchers at Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU) have analyzed Kenya's linguistic and educational environment, identified the factors affecting the effectiveness of Russian language learning, and developed research-based recommendations for adapting Russian educational resources.
«We found it important not only to identify approaches to adapting learning materials but also to test them directly in the educational process. The feedback we received helped us pinpoint the most in-demand formats and identify areas for further improving Russian language teaching methods», — said Vadim Zyubanov, head of the research project, head of the International Cooperation Office at the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Cooperation (IFLIC) of TSPU, and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
The findings provide a foundation for improving educational programs, training teachers, and expanding the use of Russian teaching materials in international educational environment.
