TSPU Futsal Team wins the City Championship

The Tomsk interuniversity futsal championship has been finished, with the team from Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU) emerging as the victors.

In a round-robin format, one of the toughest matches was the clash between TSPU and TPU—a game that could have secured an early title for either side but ended in a 2:2 draw.

The final, however, delivered pure drama. TSPU faced TSU, a team already out of medal contention but still playing with pride. TSU led 2:1 with just a minute left on the clock. Then, in the final seconds, TSPU scored the equalizer. The referee's whistle confirmed the draw—and with it, TSPU’s championship title, earned by finishing top of the table with 14 points. TPU placed second, and TSUAB third.
